Mari Grinde Arntzen (b. 1970) is a Norwegian writer.

Arntzen is known for her work on fashion and visual culture.

Her first book «Dress Code. The Naked Truth About Fashion» is published in English, Russian and Norwegian, and was nominated for best non-fiction in Russia in 2017. She is also the author of «Perfekt. Skapelsen av det plettfrie mennesket», a book about our need to be perfect and how perfection can become destructive.

Arntzen has contributed to the Dagens Næringsliv weekend magazine D2 and Aftenposten. She is an experienced lecturer, teaching journalism, fashion history and social studies at the School of Fashion Industry (SoFI). She has worked for the international architectural and design firm Snøhetta, and is now at the National Museum in Oslo.
